Poole has won a Coastal Revival Fund award granting £42,000 for improving the public realm on Poole Quay. Poole Town Cllr Andy Garner-Watts welcomed the news: "These much needed improvements will benefit the residents, local businesses, and tourists who use Poole’s bustling historic quayside."
In total, 77 Coastal Revival Fund awards are being made this year, worth £3 million. The money will be paid to the Borough of Poole local authority through a Section 31 grant and is to be spent in this financial year.
The announcement was made by Marcus Jones MP, Minister for Local Government.
